How To Build Backlinks to Get Ranked in Google

How to build backlinks is not hard to do. Backlinks is simply getting traffic to your website. The website can be found and move up in ranking on the search engines. The higher on the search engine, the more popular it can become because of traffic. So, it is not just typing in a keyword in the search engine. Think of a back way into something that is legal to do. Here are two ideas to get backlinks.

The number one way to do this is through articles. Write articles about the subject of the website. Are you selling something? What is the product, what does it do, and of course how does it help? Are your providing a service? How can you solve a problem with this service? If not selling something, then talk about a subject if you have a blog, so your blog can be found. Your blog is about space aliens. Well, write a controversial article about UFO's. Then, get an account with article directories where a person can submit the articles. People read these articles and click the link to the website to gather more information.

This leads to the second way to build backlinks, social media. Right now, on the business side, it is articles. To the public, without knowing of course, is social media. They find the coolest website. First, it is bookmarked, and then they run and send a Tweet on Twitter. Or they leave a message on MySpace or Facebook to all their friends and family. There are boxes now on websites to send messages to social media sites to tell everyone.

This just created a backlink as it is by word of mouth. The website was not found through a search engine. A bookmark is considered a backlink also. Every time the bookmark is clicked on it builds traffic to the site. So, all those friends and family from only one person created traffic without any sales. Now imagine if a percentage of those friends and family signed up for your newsletter or even bought something. That is amazing of the power of backlinks.

One final note is a mobile device. A lot of phones now have the Internet. Social media does have apps now on mobile phones. So, anytime a text comes through on the phone, the person can access the website immediately. Newsletters can be sent to the email account on the phone also. The possibilities are endless.

You need backlinks to get your site to the number one spot in Google! Find out How To Build Backlinks Now to get your site ranked.

Popular Positive HubPages and Squidoo Points Article

For the last five years, Hub Pages and Squidoo have proven to be authorities when it comes to writing backlinking articles for article directories. When these venues first started, people posted articles to earn money directly from their content. They would compose and publish these articles on these venues, and then they would earn money through a system of revenue sharing. The companies that own these sites would pay the authors a percentage of the revenues that they earned, based on the number of visitors that visited these sites.

Now, these article directories are used for backlinking purposes. Webmasters and business owners have realized that they can get lots of free advertising for their websites in this way. They can do so by creating keyword and content rich articles. If you are a business owner, or a webmaster, then setting up accounts with HubPages and with Squidoo is free, and very easy to accomplish.

Here is a look at some positive points in creating accounts with these services:

- They are free. Yes, this was mentioned, but it bears repeating.

- They are very user-friendly. Just create articles in several paragraphs with headings, copy, paste, and publish your article.

- They are popular with Google right now. This means possibly good ranking and more visitor traffic for you.

- You can personalize them to a point. Squidoo and HubPages both allow HTML, but if that isn't your thing, HubPages offers an easier template to use.

The key in using both of these platforms for backlinking purposes is that the content must be search engine friendly, keyword rich, and relevant to the website being marketed. For example, if your website sells electronics, then don't write articles about your love of knitting, and then insert links to your electronics website. Google doesn't like that, and you will get a low ranking, killing your backlinking efforts.

If you need help writing your content or even learning how to set up your hubs and lenses, adding keywords links, images, other modules and more, don't be afraid to get help. Find plenty of good freelance contractors out there in Internet marketing forums and at contractor sites. Review their websites, work samples, testimonials from clients and other portfolio info they have, review rates and project work, then give web helpers a try, especially reaching out with more than one lens and hub. Get more than one of each underway so you can crank them out on a regular basis.

Link Building - What It Is And How Important It Is

Internet marketing has now become a known profitable online business, and it includes several jobs online like website building intended for particular products and website promotion. And when we talk about website promotion, internet marketers identify link building as one of the most effective ways of doing it. In fact, there are companies which offer website promotion services. Here, we will discuss the important things that you need to know about link building - what it is and why it is important.

What Is Link Building?

The first thing you need to know in order to understand thoroughly this Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactic is to know its definition. It is actually a general term that encompasses anything that you do to build useful links of your website. It can be done by blogging, social bookmarking, URL directories, forum posting and comments, or submitting articles. It is a process of creating links from external websites to your own site. And it is the best way to increase your site's visibility or popularity to search engines and also to improve your site's ranking.

How Important Is Link Building?

Why do it and what benefits you can get out of it? First, it can increase sells as it will help generate high traffic from significant sites. High traffic means many views or visitors. Second, if your site has good quality of incoming links, it will be considered as valuable source by both search engines and visitors resulting to high ranking and more visitors. Third, it helps in building 'web presence' of your site as it creates more visibility. And the more it appears to numerous websites, the more it is regarded as credible or trustworthy source by search engines and viewers. And finally, while it provides extensive search engine exposure to your site, it also helps your site to get indexed by search engines.

So basically, the success of your site in terms of ranking and traffic relies on effective links from external websites that lead back to your own site. Today, there are already several companies dedicated to either selling links or do the service of building the links for you. Yes, it would cost you, but it is surely worth the money. There are different promotion tools that can help building links easier. But it is still best to have assistance from companies which are dedicated to these kinds of website promotions.

Easy Tips For Link Building

If you have just published a website, you will have realised that traffic and visitors do not just arrive by magic! There are several ways to start attracting visitors to your site, unfortunately most of them involve money, but one traffic generation method can be implemented for free.

This method is called link exchanging.

The concept is simple. You link to my site and I link with yours.Reciprocal links benefit both sites, as you will share some traffic with each other, but research the sites you want to link with carefully. Look for websites that rank highly in the search engines and only look for sites that are in your niche or field of expertise. That way you will get targeted free traffic back to your site. Have a look at the links they already have and where they link to.

Search Engine Optimisation is very important in getting your site as visible as possible and ranked highly in the search engines. Link exchanging can play an important role here as search engines will rank highly for good quality back links. Again, it is important to only link to relevant websites.

Any link can get traffic back to your website and there are many ways to get some links out there.

You can write articles about your niche and submit them to article directories. There are literally hundreds of these sites to choose from. A word of warning here, only submit unique content or your articles will just not be accepted. Write good quality content, add a link back to your site at the bottom and submit it to an article directory.

You can comment on blogs that are in your niche and include links back to your site.

Participate in forums, there are loads to choose from. Don't just go in and post a comment with your link on it, go in and get involved in the discussions. Don't just visit a forum and bombard it with your links, this will just mark you out as a spammer and you will be banned. Be sensible with it and you will generate some good traffic.

You may find a topic where your product or service can be a solution for somebody.

Create a signature in your email program and include links for your websites and blogs. If you have a list, email to your subscribers regularly but again, don't bombard them with information. Be selective and relevant. This will generate a steady flow of targeted traffic.

Use social bookmarking on sites like Digg, StumbleUpon and twitter. If you use WordPress to administer your site use a plugin like "sociable". This will allow visitors to bookmark your content there and then to twitter, Facebook etc. Always bear in mind that link exchanging is not a one time fix, it needs to be repeated over and over. Keep your content fresh and update regularly and you will keep a steady flow of targeted traffic flowing to your website.

Five Link Building Tips for Better Page Rank

For most of SEO and link builders, link building is a boring and tedious process. But you cannot avoid it if you are aiming at driving traffic to your website through search engines or want to improve your website or blog existing pr.

Lots of people judge about the popularity of a website through its PR and the number of backlinks that website is showing in major searches engines including Google, Yahoo and Bing, although there are some other factors like Alexa Rankings, domain age, brand value etc. And for increasing PR of a website, you have to use link building techniques to their fullest.

All links are not equal, so there are five tips that you should keep in mind while doing link building for better search engine rankings and better page rank:

* The first tip will be going for relevant websites and blogs only when building backlinks for your website. Links from relevant domains will give you much more benefit when compared with links from unrelated domains towards your website search engine rankings and Google PR.
* When building links for a website, you should go for websites only that are offering you dofollow links. In case, you are sensing that, you will be getting nofollow backlinks by using xyz website, simply skip it as it would not give you much edge from search engine prospective.
* You should be using proper anchor texts as pat of your website listing on different websites. When getting links for your website, you should be using keyword rich anchor texts to get maximum benefit towards the higher ranking of targeted keywords.
* When getting backlinks for your website, you should aim at getting links from high PR websites most of the time. Few links from PR 5 websites is much better than hundreds of backlinks from websites having no Google page rank. So when generating backlinks, focus should be on getting links from websites with high page rank. And if possible look at ways to get links from other websites and blogs home page as they carries the maximum page rank in general.
* Always look at ways to get permanent backlinks for your website. Stay away from link buying kind of ideas and schemes. If you have bought lots of backlinks for your website from other websites and blogs in your industry on a monthly subscription basis, you are taking the risk of losing your page rank and search rankings in case you have to unsubscribe to those paid links for some reason.

Easy and Effective Ways to Backlink

Backlinking is the process of creating links on other sites that lead back to your site. Hundreds of tools are available that supposedly help you automate your backlinking, but are they effective? Who wouldn't love to automate backlinking. After all, it seems to take forever to drudge through the URLs, posting, keywords, tags and descriptions, just for one stinking link! I've used several different backlinking programs and I've also done the linking myself over a period of many years. Now, i'm willing (and able) to share what has worked to increase my traffic with the least amount of grunt work.

Your Current Method of Backlinking (Probably) Sucks
Hey, mine did too. I had no problem shouting my url from the rooftops of sites like this-could-be-a-popular-site-if-it-only-had-a-real-topic.com. Did it help? Hell no. Sure, I got backlinks, but all the time taken to create them didn't do crap for bringing in customers. There's a difference, you know, between traffic and customers. Customers actually buy things. If you're randomly throwing your url out there, you may as well leave this site now because you just don't get it.

Get Smart, About Backlinking
Getting traffic that converts is about getting traffic with intent. This means getting people who visit and who already have the idea about what they want. Think about it, these people are already half way to a sale. You just need to impress the value of your product(s) on them and close the deal. Your actual traffic numbers will likely decrease when you start to backlink with intent, but your conversions will increase. What exactly is intent? It's finding forums, blogs, rss and url submission services that you can confidently say are related to the topic behind your product. Five minutes finding sites that you can comment on in a way that is genuine saves you hours of randomly posting in the wind.

If You Post Spammy Comments, You Should Be Shot
You know the spammy comments that sound like a person having a sudden break from reality, babbling about how they found Prada bags for just five bucks? Have you ever actually followed one of those links because you thought you might need a new Prada for your wardrobe? Amazing that these kinds of links even exist but they are a result of sloppy, lack of comment policing that allows auto comments to propogate. Leaving a simple sentence or two of RELEVANT conversation regarding a post is worth more than that damn Prada. Let's face it, you futz around forums like everyone else, right? Posting like a human being adds VALUE to your product and your reputation. Again, it doesn't take any more time to post a relevant comment that has intent.

Don't Always Play Salesman. It Pushes People Away
No one likes people who are always trying to sell you something, either physical or a crappy dating line. Sooner or later, you just want to walk away and that's what people will do if you consistently try to drag money out of your visitors. Once a backlink has been created and someone clicks through because you seem interesting, nothing is more repulsive than a HUGE sales page. If you aren't sure if you're selling too hard, install an analytics code and check how long your visitors stay. If they leave within a few seconds of arriving at your page from a backlink, your second impression isn't working and you need to change it. More on that next...

How Does Article Writing Boost Your Website Rankings?

Some people who hear the term 'article writing' may wonder what it means and whether it really has anything to do with them. SEO articles contain the content or words that fill your website pages. These words are often used to describe the goods or services that you wish to provide to the people who visit your website. If you don't have any words on those pages, then you have no information that will make people want to stay on your site once they get there. Articles are also used as a way to increase your rankings with search engines.

Article writing doesn't mean that you can write just any old thing or throw together a bunch of non-related words. Even the articles are not used as your actual website content must meet certain guidelines. It is important that they remain interesting and informative. The articles that are submitted to directories are designed to link back to your website using specific keywords. These back links are very important if you want your website to be recognized by the major search engines. The more articles you submit with those important back links to your website, the more likely it will come up in a Google search when someone types in that keyword.

When a person wants to find something on the internet, he will type in a search phrase or keyword, such as 'inexpensive wood picture frames.' The search engines find the websites that appear to them to be popular for those particular words or topic, and then list them by a ranking. The search engines perform regular checks on websites that are called 'indexing.' This shows the current rank of each website. Back links are important because the more that exist pointing to a particular website, the higher its rank will be. The amount of traffic that visits the website also helps in the ranking process, as does the age of the website, which is the length of time the website has been around.

As you can see, having plenty of content on your website and in articles that are back linked to your website can make a big difference to the ability of people to find you when they type search terms into a search engine. Article writing is the only way to generate content, whether you do it yourself or hire a content company to do the article writing for you.

Reasons Why Google Loves to See You Using Backlinks

What is a backlink? It is simply one web site linking to another web site. That link is counted as a backlink to the receiving web site. Google loves to see and count backlinks (although the search engine is NOT interested in sharing it's backlink counts with anyone!) - and the reason Google loves backlinks is because it's the best measure of a site's relevance to a particular topic.

Every link has what is called an anchor text - the clickable text of the link - and when this anchor text is related to the topic of the target website - that is a 'vote' in Google's mind for the relevancy of the target site. For example:

A link to a site about guitars has the anchor text of 'electric guitars' - that is a great link for the guitar site, because it represents another web site linking to the guitar site with a contextually -relevant link. In other words - the more links you can get pointing to your web site with contextually relevant anchor texts, the better.

Google sees this as a 'vote' for your site - a sign that your site is truly about guitars. Other sites may link to you with links like 'guitar accessories' or 'guitar music' - all of those would be good, too.

Some experts say it's not a bad idea to link out to some sites that are relevant to yours, as well. It shows that your site is participating in the niche you are operating in - building trust, authority and is a measure of your site's quality. Linking to other sites also often gives you the added bonus of them linking back to you! At the same time, other SEO experts tell you to limit outbound links - that it 'dilutes' your PageRank (one of Google's measures of site strength).

The key is relevancy - are the links that are pointing to and from your site making your site more relevant for a user searching the web? Have you ever noticed that Google often ranks non-profit, altruistic web sites higher than their commercial counterparts? Why do you think this is so? I believe the answer lies in the 'natural' link pattern that many non-commercial web sites have - they willingly link to other groups and sites - sites that may actually be in direct competition with them over an idea or cause. That builds trust and authority in Google's eyes, and may be a good lesson for commercial sites.

The debate on backlinks and their importance will rage on as long as Google keeps their web site ranking algorithm a secret. But it's clear that links - inbound and outbound are important and really do affect your rankings in the search engines.

Link Building Secrets - Are They Hiding in Plain Sight?

You can find several different link-building ideas on the Internet; how to's on creating backlinks, if chasing an external link is a good strategy, how to help your readers talk and leave their own links in the comment section, and finding the strongest sites to link to, etc. However, there is one very powerful link building idea that hardly ever gets attention, which is having an affiliate program. This is a solution that is based on having many people promote your link (for your products or services) in return for a commission when the sale is made.

Think about this for a minute. It is very easy to make a digital product and upload that to the ClickBank marketplace, and ClickBank handles everything else, including signing up for and paying affiliate sites on time. Plus, you have your URL on ClickBank, which is ranked by Alexa traffic as 333 and in the US it is ranked as 135 - it is a great backlink.

If you make the most of your affiliates, you will soon feel the Link love.

Remember, do not just abandon affiliates to ClickBank, rather, create a resource center for your product site, along with snippets of your code, button ads, banners, proven tips, FAQ's, and anything else that might help them sell your product in an enthusiastic manner. Of course, they will have to contact you if there is a violation, but you will soon find experienced affiliate marketers that will not hesitate to do so.

The bottom line is that you need to be ready for them. This means giving them what they want and they will happily promote you.

Moreover, you want to provide them with a free brand report, so that they can use it to redistribute to their list. If you happen to be a writer, use a ghostwriter to produce it and fill it with valuable tips.

Make sure you offer to do interviews. In addition, upload YouTube videos (which is another must-do for places to put your link!) to show your affiliates how they can create link cloaking redirects, or show them how to best use your product, which is very useful.

Of course, the better quality your product is, as well the quality of your affiliate resources, the more willingly they will be ready to promote you, which will increase your link power. Add the free brand report (viral marketing) and sit back and watch the links explode!

Web Marketing Using Backlinks

Are you serious about getting your business out there on the web? If so, you need to use web marketing, which allows you to bring in a wider web audience and boost your business. To do this, you need to be involved in Search engine optimization, or SEO.

You have quite a few options when it comes to making your website more SEO compatible. One of the options is using backlinks. Those new to the web game need to understand how this helps with your online marketing campaign.

To gain more notice on the web, you need to use web marketing and get your page ranking up on search engines. Backlinks help with this process. They are very useful in search engine rankings, and are the most time-consuming part of SEO.

Backlinks are often referred to as one-way links. These are links posted on different websites by web marketers, pointing back to you for good reason. For this to be effective, you need to have the links posted on the right websites.

When doing backlinks, it needs to be done in such a way that it isn't seen as spamming. Using quality backlinks takes people to your page because they are interested in what you are promoting. Backlinks actually take people away from the site they were on, and move them to your site.

For Backlinks to be effective, you need to post them on reputable sites that are pertinent to what you are promoting. These sites need to be relevant to your product. You won't get many bites advertising for photography on a fishing site. Another example; if you are a plumber in your area, and have many backlinks coming from other plumbers websites, this is good. If the links are coming from non-relevant sites, this is not as good. You want the links to be relevant.

Backlinks can be effective, but they do take work. For backlinks to help with your website's marketing, they need to be done consistently. One way to do this is to have articles written and submitted to online websites such as EzineArticles, then backlink the article to the original website.

Articles can also be posted to your own blog, using key words relevant to your business. Find blogs with content similar to your business niche, and post comments on their sites. When doing Internet marketing, it's a good idea to find companies familiar with SEO.

Link Building for SEO - Types of Links to Build

Link building for SEO is probably one of the hardest parts of SEO. SEO primarily comprises of two part and those are on page optimisation, and off page optimisation. When we're working on your website and structuring your web pages for ranking purposes, this is on page SEO. When link building to linkback to your website, this is called off page SEO. Link building is more difficult because you do not have the control over the site your links will be displayed on. For this reason link building takes a bit more work, but pays off huge in the end.

There are many ways you can link build but what you have to remember is, the quality of links are what is most important about any type of link building you will achieve. If you have poor quality links, more than likely the work that you have put in will go unrewarded. So doing this work properly is very important for you to receive the benefits that you're expecting. Unfortunately the highest quality links are the hardest links to get, and the reason for this is they belong to government or university web sites.

If you could have government or universities websites pointing to your domain more than likely your website will be a hit regardless of the content or the information provided. But this is not what you're looking for, what you're looking for are relevant websites that are pointing to your domain in order to give you the backlinks you are looking for. You have to remember the quality of links you're looking for, so with that information this site will start by listing different locations for you to build backlinks to your domain.

Purchase links: You can buy links from different companies for a certain dollar amount, and what you need to consider is the better the link the more money it will cost.

Asking for links: If you have visited different blogs that are relevant to your website or websites that you like you may want to ask if they can post a link to your site. This doesn't always work but it is very effective when it does.

Link exchange programs: With this program you're actually trading links with other individuals looking for links as well. You only want to exchange links with sites that are very popular.

Directory registrations: With directory registrations you can register your website in a directory to get a link that points back to your site. This is very time consuming, but some directories are very popular with the search engines and this could possibly be a potential good source for backlinks.

Article submission: Submitting articles to article directories has been a favorite for many SEO experts and this builds very strong backlinks. Some article directories are very popular with search engines of all types, and for this reason this is a solid way to build very profitable backlinks.

Press releases: Writing press releases or having someone write a press release is very valuable to your website. Submitting press releases is very similar to submitting articles and in effect it works the same way. The difference is there are some websites that only take press releases.

Viral marketing: You can use some of the sites that are considered paid to post. What you need to watch out for here is how popular the site is with search engines. If they are not popular with the search engines you could possibly be wasting your money, so research is needed in this area.

Free back link sites: There are some sites that are out there that will submit articles for you to create backlinks. These particular sites will use websites such as blogs or sites they have access to, and submit your articles to be posted with your backlinks already anchored.

These are only a few ways to start link building and if done correctly you would begin to drive targeted relevant traffic to your web presence. Link building takes a lot of time and a lot of experience to do it properly. If you have the time you will get the experience you need by beginning to learn the link building process. It's best to discuss your strategy with an SEO Consultant to ensure you have covered all avenues of SEO.

Three Reasons Why Your Comments May Get Deleted

You think you have written a positive post or comment on a blog that you liked, but you never see it posted, or even worse, you see it for two days and it gets deleted. Have you ever wondered why this happens? SEO Services in India

Often the reason for it not being posted has nothing to do with the quality of your post. The more likely reason is that the blog owners do not check their email messages very often, and they may have many emails requesting comment approvals. Time may be short and deleting is the easier option. If it was posted and you see it disappear, it could also be the owner just hit the wrong button by mistake (such as the spam button or the delete button, we have all done this).

If you see this happening to your posts often, then you need to see if any of these apply....

1. Leaving vague messages that are too short.

You may have truly meant it when you wrote, "Great Blog! I'm happy to have found you!" but that unfortunately is the same thing that spammers do.

To fix this: Contribute to the conversation in some way making specific reference to the conversation taking place. Perhaps agree or disagree and offer alternative points of view that add to the value of the post. You can also add something extra that you think is missing from the post.

If you cannot think of anything to say except, "Great! I like your blog!" - You really need to skip commenting at all, even if your sentiments are real. Most blog owners hold these sorts of comments in low regard.

2. You unknowingly violated the blog rule.

For instance, you include a link within your comment when the blog rules clearly state "no links in comments" or you may have used aggressive or mean language that may have offended a shy blog owner with raunchy comments.

3. You post something that is very dazzling that causes the poster to look bad, this can be especially true if it is a competitor of the blog. To put it bluntly, this is not very smart because this is like defeating your boss at golf, it just is not cool.

This does not happen often, but if you rattle your competitor too much that he or she begins deleting your posts or not even commenting on your posts, then you don't need much help with future linking methods!

Link Building - Use Your Competition To Build Fast Backlinks

Do you know that there is a way that you can get the same backlinks as your competition? What most people don't know is that you can take over pretty much anybody by searching on Yahoo's site explorer for their backlinks. The way this technique works is you look for a certain keyword that you want to rank for and then you see who has the top 2 spots on the search engines. The reason you do this is so that you can then go to the Yahoo site explorer and see where they have their backlinks because you will be going to those exactly same places and attempt to get your link there as well.

Another thing you can do in order to Link Building fast backlinks is write articles about your website in general and submit them to article directories. What most people don't understand about this strategy is that you want to write about what your website is all about and then bring up your competition. The reason why you even want to bring up your competition is because bigger and more powerful websites will have software that tells them when somebody is talking about them and when they go and see your article they might put it on their website or they might link to it in some way or another. This is what you want because the more you can get backlinks from or away from your competition the better you will be in the long run. The one piece of advice I have for you is never talk bad about your competition, just state the known facts because the one thing you don't want to do is create enemies out of somebody that is already beating you.

The last thing you need to know about how to build backlinks by using your competition is to try to build links on their site through blog comments or things like that. The nice part about doing this is you will be taking the link juice from their site and transferring it to your site. The one thing you need to watch out for when doing this is they will probably moderate all your comments and because of this you will need to provide a lot of value in your comments in order to get it approved. Just remember that if you can just get 1 link then you are doing good and it will only be a matter of time before you overtake them on the search engine rankings.

If you want to make money quickly then you need to understand that it all comes down to the number of backlinks you can get. Just remember, the more backlinks you have the greater

The Truth About Link Building

Anyone who owns and optimise a website will be aware that link building is extremely important. If you are new to the world of websites and building an Internet business then it is important to you to understand the truth about link building and why it is so important.

Any website owner needs to build links as part of their SEO strategy. SEO itself stands for search engine optimisation and this is the process of getting your website as highly ranked as possible in the search engines. When doing this you need to conduct proper keyword research, you need to provide quality content, and you need to build links.

By adopting a decent search engine optimisation strategy, you should be able to compete in local market. The better your strategy, the higher up the rankings you will climb. The further towards the top of the rankings you are, the more organic traffic you will generate. This traffic is not only natural and organic, but it is highly targeted at the same time.

The reason why links are important within your search engine optimisation strategy is because the search engines will consider any website that has multiple links from multiple sources to be a relevant website for the specific keywords that are included within those links. Your ranking is closely related to your relevancy in the eyes of the search engines. Due to the fact that each link you develop is considered a vote, you will be considered very relevant and very popular if you have thousands of links.

What many people do not realise, however, is that building links from a variety of different sources is going to be important. If you are only generating hundreds or even thousands of links from the same source then this will be considered spam and, as such, this may end up doing damage to your optimisation strategy and your ranking.

Generating links from sources like article directories, website directories, forums, discussion boards, blogs, social bookmarks, and various others is important. In addition to this, you need to understand that link building is a gradual process. If you start-up a new website and suddenly you get thousands of links then this is going to be very unnatural and your ranking will suffer as a result. Gradually generating your links over time is very important.

There are also different types of links that you can build. Reciprocal links will be those that you post on your website to another website who will then post a link to yours in return. These are valuable but not so much as one way links. These are links that are posted on another website and which go directly to your site without reciprocation. When it comes to relevancy, any website that has lots of one-way links is generally going to be deemed to be more important.

Understanding the truth about link building is going to help you to develop a far more effective strategy. You need to understand the importance of links, their value, the different links you can build, and how to build them, if you want to run a successful search engine optimisation campaign.

Improve Your Search Results on Google With High PR Forum Links

Every individual that has created a website is very concerned about the search results that they're getting from Google. It is a known fact that if your website is not on the first page of Google's search results, you don't stand much of a chance to secure enough visitors to make your business profitable.

Currently, Google offers the top 3 positions on every page of their search results to advertisers. Google claims that approximately over 60 percent of their visitors will click on 1 of the top 3 listings. Some pages do not have paid advertisements at the top and others have only 1 or 2. You can be assured that Google does not give these spots away for free. The actual price paid for any 1 of the top 3 spots is almost prohibited for a newly formed business.

By this time you are probably wondering how your website can possibly get listed on the first page of Google's search results and more importantly, how your website can be listed close to the top of the first page. The majority of individuals that search the internet, are quite impatient and want instant gratification. That's why a first page listing is so important to your overall success. It's imperative to bring vast numbers of visitors to your website everyday if you ever hope to be successful as an internet merchant.

Google places a great deal of importance on Forums with a High PR that link directly to your website. Every link to your website from a PR6, PR7, PR8 or PR9 will definitely help to improve your website's overall ranking on Google. You will find that links that come from a PR8 and a PR9 Forum will enhance your website's ranking with Google. Forums like these are not very easy to locate and when you do locate one, you may find that it's not within your area of expertise. Because of the value that Google puts on links from High PR Forums, it would definitely be well worth your time and effort to learn enough about these forums to register and to become a regular contributor to their discussions.

At this particular point in time, you might be asking yourself exactly how should you go about locating these High PR Forums that will surely help to put your website on the map. A good many individuals consider searching the internet, but that takes time and time costs money for a business owner. You will quickly find out that a considerable number of websites offer free High PR Forum lists to lure you to their site. You will find that the majority of these lists are not really up-to-date and the PRs have not been verified and many of the PRs are incorrect. I can definitely attest to that fact since I have been there and I have done that.

Another alternative to consider is to contract with a company (SEO) to provide you with the forum back-links that you need to boost your page ranking with Google. You'll find that many of these companies really don't accomplish what they originally claimed that they would do. I can attest to that fact because I've been there and I've done that too. Quite a few companies will create all of your back-links in a week or two. This is not a very good idea because that would not look natural to Google and you would be simply wasting your time and your money.

I would seriously suggest that you should not contract with a company that does not agree in writing (email is sufficient) that they'll provide a full refund if the end results are not what they agreed to accomplish upfront. Make sure that you keep all email correspondence in case you have a future dispute with your credit card company.

Your best alternative is to get your hands on a properly prepared list that is up-to-date and all of the PRs have been recently verified. Some of the forum lists are over priced, but you'll have to decide at that point how much you are willing to spend for this hard-to-get information. A good list of High PR Forums is invaluable commodity. Any list that you consider buying should have at least 50 links to PR6-PR9 Forums.

Once you have secured such a list, you'll need to select those forums that you are definitely interested in becoming a part of. After making that determination, you will need to schedule some time every day to provide content on these forums. A good rule of thumb is to register with a new forum every other day and provide content no more than twice per day to any forum. In two months, you would have registered with 30 forums and you would have a total of 120 High PR Forum back-links to your website. This form of participation would look pretty natural to Google and your website would certainly increase your website's ranking with Google.

If you are interested in checking out an unbelievable list of High PR Forum Links, please Link Builder. We also have a fantastic list of High PR Directory Links available. Simply SEO Services in India to take a look.

Google Algorithm Changed to Stop Link Farming

he latest update of Google algorithm against "Shallow" or "low quality" content is changed drastically and this is affecting approximate 12% of US results. Previously the changes what Google made were so subtle that no one noticed but these big changes affected ranking a lot. If we go through changes made by the Google then:

* In 2007: Google filtered completely the forum profiles and no forum profiles got ranking in SERP.
* In 2009: Google lowered the impact of forum signatures.
* In 2010: To stop link juice Google filtered blogs.
* In addition, in 2011 (Anti Farmer): The giant company may filter out the content farms which will decrease the impact of links from those sites. In this way the article sites and directory sites impact will be much lesser.

The algorithmic update by Google has already been implemented in US and in near future it will be across the globe. This is really the crucial time for all the countries to understand the changes that are being made by the Google and take action as per that.
I would like to share my views about this changes made by Google and how we can prevent ourselves from its effects. As per my opinion, the follow precautions are required to be dealt with:

1. Discuss with your SEO Company - If you are taking help for SEO promotion from various companies and if they haven't informed you about this update I will recommend you to rethink about there approach. Talk to them and share the above mentioned facts.

2. Check the back link created for your site - carefully check the back links, which are being created for your site, are these links from link firming sites or those sites which are already banned. If you find any such aspect then immediately take action and remove your links from such sites.

3. The Content is the king - Did you check the quality of the content that your seo company produces through the off page optimization? Please recheck those and if the quality of the contents is poor and just used for back link creation, it is going to hurt your site. Make sure all the content used for your site is unique and providing values for your site.

4. How you process your article Marketing? - Check, with your seo team, how many times they published one article, does the team publish the same article for several times in same IP? Make sure your team use "original content " and acts accordingly.

5. Think from user point of view - If you are a user and landed on your own site what value you would expect and what you are getting, compare such aspects and implement them.

6. The conversion optimization and brand optimization aspects - Analyze the site performance, bounce rate, conversion rate, return traffic etc; so that the user experience becomes much more professional and effective.

I will advice you to hire a professional or a company, that can cross check the aspects which I mentioned above, and make a proper strategy to overcome the algorithmic changes. Always keep in mind that SEO is an effective process only if one can make sure that it's in ethical and logical way else it will be nothing other than just wastage of the money and the time.

Five Reliable Ways to Build Links and Boost Traffic to Your Site Or Blog

With experience, every diligent webmaster conjures up a list of on-site best practices that help websites occupy a top rank on popular search engine pages for relevant keyword phrases. Search engine rating and ranking of your website is highly influenced by linking structure, Meta tags, image alt tags, unique content as well as page load time.

Regardless of the on-site factors usually focused by webmasters, the most effective technique that can be applied to raise your organic search traffic is the effective implementation of an intelligent link-building strategy. The tactics is quite simple; as you have more relevant links pointing to your site from other domains, it will have increased opportunity of ranking higher for your target keyword phrases.

But if you are an off-site SEO novice, just thinking of link building could be quite intimidating. Given the wide range of options for achieving linkbuilding, do you know the result-oriented ones? Bear this in mind; it is not just the mere quantity of links that aid in pushing your website to the top positions for your target keywords, the quality of pages linking back to you also count.

Below given are 5 proven link-building techniques that are counted among the most consistent and highly effective practices by web-experts who have spent several years on search engine optimization. Although these five are not the only ways to generate links that point back to your blog or website, they are the most effective and have been proven to work on a wide range of sites. Remember, it is important not to limit yourself to a particular link building technique and to not stop from exploring novel online sources to generate greater an relevant backlinks.

Article Marketing
Numerous webmasters use article marketing quite frequently to build relevant follow-up-links back to the domains; however, it is usually not performed effectively. Undoubtedly, original articles publishing on marketing sites create applicable links back to your domain; however, the articles on their own seem to have very minute search engine authority... in other words, there is need to publish numerous articles so that you can make significant difference. If your articles are well-written and beneficial to your target audience, it is most likely that some webmasters will pick them up and publish them again on related blogs. This will generate more links pointing back to your domain from other websites.

If you want to achieve limitless success with your article marketing, have a sound plan to publish numerous articles monthly while ensuring that you include the URL to your WebPages in the resource box. The popular article directories to publish your articles are EzineArticles, Article Dashboard, ArticleBase and SearchWrap.

Related Link Exchanges
Be careful to observe that 'related' or 'relevant' is used to qualify link exchanges. The notion of some people that link exchanges have been made unproductive for accomplishing SEO by search engines is not true. Provided that link exchange is achieved between related sites and is not excessively done, you can attract substantial authority using it.

li>Before suggesting exchange of links, it is wise to establish professional relationship with webmasters that their sites are related to yours. Participate actively in your online niche community; submit guest posts, leave comments, interact with bloggers and remember to make reference to your website at the right time. With this, it becomes easier to convince webmasters to exchange links with you.

Guest Blog Posts
If you use this tactics appropriately, it has the potential of becoming the top influential off-site SEO tool for achieving link-building. The challenge with guest blog posts is that it is difficult to come forth with a result-oriented guest blog post, it is even easier to achieve link exchanges, article marketing and directory submissions. This technique ensures a much higher quality link to your website but with much effort.

If you want an influential blogger to accept your content for guest post, you must make it relevant, valuable, and it should be thoroughly written. You can also achieve result by submitting your guest posts to less popular, smaller blogs. My Blog Guest is a valuable community online that can help you come across other bloggers that would want to work with guest posters.

Embarking on a Website Contest
Another effective tactic for building links is to give away gifts or prizes to those who visit your site regularly - it is effective both in performance and cost. Although prize or cash award is a huge no-no with the search engines when it comes to link building, it can be an effective avenue for motivating your fans to visit your site and tell others about it.

Instead of giving out monthly prize to a person that links back to your website, it is better to make it an entry requirement for the person to just talk about your site somewhere. It doesn't matter if the contest participants talk about your domain on their Facebook profiles or blog, they will still build recognition of your brand and generate links for you on the long run.

Remember to advertise the contest on some free contest forums online; examples are Contest Blogger, About Blog Contest as well as Lucky Contests. Don't think for a moment that it will require a very expensive price to lure people into participating. Simple items like books, fun trinkets and t-shirts can attract user interaction.

Submitting to Authoritative Directory
One of the standard SEO link building tools that has existed for a long time is directory submissions. A massive number of directories online will link to your website without charging you any money. The only challenge is this; the technique has been made less effective by search engines as a result of link building abuse.

However, site submission to few relevant and renowned directories remains a great way to build a profile of back-links. Webmasters with extra bucks should think of submitting their sites to authoritative directories such as Yahoo Directory and a few others. It is a guaranteed way of generating quality links back to your site.

The process of launching an effective link building campaign is not as germane as the time required to make it both effective and efficient. There are many options regarding back linking and what is most effective and what is most efficient in achieving top ranking among the major search engines. As an established SEO Company having over a decade of experience, we have truly seen it all. We have also seen many SEO Companies fall by the wayside unable to adapt and adjust to an ever-changing Internet Marketing environment.

As a result of these experiences, and in light of recent changes in the Search Engine Optimization field, we felt it would be a good time to re-visit time proven methods that are worth their weight in gold when it comes to building back links. We will cover more innovative and creative link building trends affecting the SEO field in another article very soon. For now, this reference list will assist those uncertain of how to initiate and pursue a link building campaign in the current Internet Marketing environment.

1. Write and Publish Articles: Although the Panda/Farmer Google algorithm update has brought a great deal of attention to the negative effects of article publication, the process still plays a very important role in a back linking campaign when performed properly. Article submission is one of the truly original and acceptable practices for generating high quality back links and traffic to any Internet Property. And while it has come under a great deal of fire recently, content drives the search engines, and fresh, original, relevant content is exactly what the search engines want and need to supply an ever growing and seemingly insatiable appetite for new information on the Internet

At your fingertips information is the name of the game. Article syndication is thereby still a valid and respected way to create back links from high PR web sites. Over the last few years it has definitely changed and it will continue to mature. Ultimately, people want and need information on a variety of highly complex topics. The quickest way to supply this information is to generate relevant subject matter on any given topic and syndicate that research via an article publication site. The rules of article syndication have definitely changed (in my opinion for the better) but there is certainly no question the overall advantages to the author still remain the same.

2. Outbound Links to Other Relevant Internet Properties: One aspect of SEO that many overlook is the value of an outbound link. Outbound links, without question, should be looked upon as the most valuable commodity of any Internet Property. Outbound links should be weighed and measured with a great deal of scrutiny. Nevertheless, if your web site lacks any outbound links within the content there is a problem. From the psychology of a search engine, an outbound link serves as a footnote to substantiate the research you have provided for your content (similar to an author footnote in a thesis or a book). Outbound links provide authority to your content, lend credibility to your original independent research, and serve as a reference for all the work done in the past to support your contentions and conclusions.

3. Social Media Profiles: As one of the most significant trends in recent Internet Marketing Social Media Profiles are part of a 'must have' Internet Marketing' arsenal. Create and manage your social media profiles on a weekly if not daily basis.

4. Blog Comments: Blog comments, although they do not maintain the link juice they once had, are still a very good way to get quality links back to your site. Blog comments from .org and .gov sites can provide outstanding link quality if you can get them.

5. Guest Blogging: Guest blogging is a really good way to get two or three quality back links as well as deep links to your site. The key to guest blogging is to provide high quality original and germane content to the site owner.

6. Directory Submission: Directory submission, once again, has lost a great deal of link juice over the course of the last few years. Despite this it is still an important and valid way to get quality back links to your web site. Submit your site to as many directories as you possibly can. Just make sure that the directories are quality directories and they are industry related to your market.

7. Link Baiting: Link baiting is an acceptable and highly effective way to get back links for your site. Matt Cutts discussed the value of link baiting in a recent video he released. Link baiting is time consuming but well worth the effort considering you can get hundreds or thousands of quality back links to your site utilizing this method.

A good example of link bait would be to produce a series of branded web design templates that you allow users to download for free. As they download the templates and create web sites they are providing a back link to your site through the brand or link embedded within the source code of the template.

8. Link Wheels: Link wheels are initially time consuming to create but can definitely work wonders for any link building campaign. Link wheels are comprised of a series of Web 2.0 web sites that you create with a continuous series of links with all links eventually pointing back to the most significant or target Internet Property. There are a number of informative videos which outline link wheel creation available on YouTube, simply search the subject.

9. Forum Signature Posts: Forums are valuable for link building for a couple of really good reasons. First active involvement in multiple industry related forums provide an opportunity to build valuable industry connections for yourself and your web site. As these relations grow, your credibility and authority within the Internet community will grow accordingly. This provides you with a great deal of link building opportunities with a similar minded and industry specific audience. Secondly, each forum comment will give you a new back link to your Internet Property.

10. Press Releases: Press releases provide a great opportunity to generate exposure for your web site as well serving as an awesome branding tool. Most press releases do not allow links in the body of the release but there is almost always a way to get a back link somewhere in the press release submission syndication process. Press releases do not require a great deal of time because unlike article submission, press releases should be distributed no more than ten times a year.

11. Video Marketing: Video Marketing is quickly gaining momentum in the development of back linking campaigns. Video Marketing results can quickly show up on page one of the major search engines generating enormous volumes of traffic as well an extraordinary number of back links for your Internet Property. YouTube is a great place to start as Google tends to give it preference over other platforms at this time.

12. Social Bookmarking: A never ending process with little link juice, social bookmarking is still an important element to link building. The key to effective social bookmarking is selecting relevant and highly targeted Tags. Social bookmarking is by its nature time consuming but after the initial accounts are set up on the various social sites the process becomes increasingly more efficient and productive. Additionally, there are a number of free social bookmarking tools available to semi-automate the process.

13. One Way Inbound Linking: By far the most effective method of link building One Way Inbound Linking is very labor intensive, time consuming, and requires a great deal of perseverance. One ways links are the most natural and therefore the most valued by the search engines. The way you get one way links is by engaging the Internet community and developing a relationship that draws or encourages other web sites to want to link to you. One way linking is most effective from thematically relevant web sites within your industry. A lot of emails and perhaps a great deal of begging can't hurt this link building process either.

14. Squidoo Lens: Creating a Squidoo lens is a good way to get links as well as to introduce you and your expertise to the Internet. A Squidoo lens can provide back links and help develop valuable industry specific relationships. Plus, Squidoo actually pays you for your efforts. Additionally, you can offer your services to others by creating Squidoo lenses for them and inserting a link back to your primary Internet Property.

As a professional SEO Company the practice of building high quality back links has been a full time job for us for over a decade. Finding creative ways to build relevant quality back links is very labor intensive and requires a multitude of skills and relies heavily on the relationships that are built within an industry niche and the Internet community overall. As the Internet continues to evolve and change, so do the necessary skills requisite to implement effective Internet Marketing strategy.

How To Get A High Search Ranking On Google

Your immediate SEO (Search Engine Optimization) plans probably consist of enhancing your online presence, especially on Google, the world’s most popular search engine. At first glance, you may think that landing on the Google top 10 for a popular keyword is easy. After all, other companies have done it. And you have lots of great content to share.

Before assuming anything about Google, that billion dollar powerhouse, make sure you understand the most important factors in getting a high ranking. Google takes search engine results very seriously because this is the company’s business. Therefore, don’t conclude that it’s easy to earn a high ranking just because you have quality and quantity to offer.

Some of the other Google ranking factors include:

• The age of the domain (longevity equals trust)
• Domain hosting (the quality of your domain hosting company)
• Dedicated or virtual servers (dedicated ranks higher, as virtual servers may be associated with SPAM)
• Contact information (trustworthy sites always have full contact information)
• Proper linking (clean sites with proper inner page linking, plus an easy sitemap)
• URL structure (URLs should be clean and easy to read, not full of garble)
• Quality of inbound and outbound links (100% relevancy and quality)

These are just some of the overlooked factors that many clients and SEO firms neglect when they try to improve their search rankings. Of course, you probably already know two of the most important factors in SEO: selecting appropriate keywords and quality/quantity content. However, are you also aware that your web pages have to be properly optimized in addition to articles—and each page must be optimized according to its unique content? You know that having a proper balance of quality and quantity is important, but are you truly writing articles for human beings? Google Robots are not impressed with artificial language or keyword stuffed content.

Another important factor is that of the bounce rate, and this is credit that not too many people are willing to give Google. Google actually tracks how long visitors (sent from keyword strings) are staying at your site. This means that all those visitors who find your site and then immediately leave (usually because of keyword irrelevancy) are counting against you!

In other words, pay attention to the quality of your site—in all respects. Don’t neglect the little things because Google has nothing better to do than focus in on all the minute details! Now plan your SEO strategy from a Google-centric point of view.
